We don't need the extra expansion board now, The connectors all fit and I've worked out that I can re-use 3 of the led's for motion control limit switch diagnostics if required ;-)
any updates with this project ? just rescued an outrun cab with a busted pcb.. reaserching options i came across your cannonboard project. looks fantastic, thanks for doing this.
Is this project dead, or has it moved somewhere else?
The source code is checked into a branch in the github repository from memory. It was a while ago now, but things were pretty much done from a code standpoint.
You could message ColinD on UKVAC and get the details on the PCB from him if you were interested in following up further.
Right now, I've been focusing on other projects, like the new version of OutRun Enhanced, which is more based around having an original PCB.
